Water Damage Restoration
This is the full-scope service that covers everything between the moment water enters the building and the moment the last piece of baseboard goes back on. It combines extraction, documented drying, antimicrobial treatment and reconstruction under one crew, one scope and one claim file. Whether a three-day dry-out or a three-week rebuild results is decided almost entirely in the first twenty-four hours.
Common causes we see
- Supply lines and shut-off valves failing under constant household pressure
- Roof and flashing leaks that saturate insulation long before a ceiling stain appears
- Water heaters splitting at the tank seam, typically past year eight
- Slab and foundation penetrations after prolonged rainfall
Signs you need Water Damage Restoration now
- Floorboards cupping, buckling or separating at the seams
- A musty smell that intensifies near baseboards and closet floors
- Stains that visibly spread or darken from one day to the next
- A water bill that jumps with no fixture running
Situations we handle every week
- You came home to standing water and have no idea how many hours it ran
- Another company dried the surface and left, and the room still smells
- Your adjuster is asking for moisture documentation nobody produced
What happens if it is left alone
- Wet framing above 16% moisture content begins supporting mold growth within 24 to 48 hours in humid conditions
- Water wicks vertically through drywall roughly one inch per hour, turning a baseboard repair into a full wall replacement
- Subfloor adhesive fails silently under wet flooring, so the finish floor delaminates weeks after the visible water is gone
- Carriers routinely reduce payouts where mitigation was delayed and the damage demonstrably grew
How we handle water damage restoration
- 1Emergency call and same-hour dispatchA restoration coordinator — not a call centre — takes the address, tells you where your shut-off likely is, and assigns the nearest loaded truck with a live ETA by text.
- 2Establish the true wet footprintThermal imaging finds temperature differentials, then penetrating meters confirm actual moisture content. Every reading is logged against a floor-plan position so the scope is defensible, not estimated.
- 3Bulk water removalTruck-mounted extraction pulls standing water, then weighted extraction passes compress carpet and pad to remove what free-flow extraction leaves behind.
- 4Engineered structural dryingAir movers and LGR dehumidifiers are calculated to cubic footage and class of loss, with daily psychrometric readings driving repositioning rather than a fixed equipment schedule.
- 5Reconstruction to pre-loss conditionOnce dry standard is documented, drywall, insulation, trim and flooring are rebuilt by our own licensed crews so you are not chasing a second contractor.

How this differs from similar services
Water Damage Restoration vs Water Mitigation
Mitigation is the emergency half — stop, extract, dry. This page covers mitigation plus the rebuild that follows, under a single contract.
Water Damage Restoration vs Restoration Services
Restoration Services is the umbrella covering fire, mold, storm and sewage as well. This page is specifically water losses.

Water Damage Restoration — frequently asked
Drying a single-room clean-water loss runs three to five days. Multi-room losses, hardwood or water that sat for days push drying to seven to ten. Reconstruction is separate: two days for baseboard and paint, several weeks for a kitchen or a floor replacement.

Emergency Water Extraction
Extraction is the single highest-value hour of any water loss: every gallon pulled mechanically is a gallon that never has to be evaporated out of your building. Crews arrive with extractors already loaded and pumping starts before the paperwork does. The goal is not to finish the job on day one, it is to stop the loss from getting bigger.
Structural Drying
Structural drying is the science half of restoration: removing bound moisture from framing, subfloor, plaster and concrete after the free water is gone. It is not a matter of putting fans in a room — equipment counts are calculated from cubic volume, class of loss and material type, then adjusted daily against psychrometric readings until the building matches its own unaffected baseline.
Water Mitigation
Mitigation is the insurance term for stopping the damage from getting worse, and it is a distinct phase with its own scope, pricing and documentation standard. It ends the day the building meets dry standard — reconstruction is a separate agreement. Carriers evaluate mitigation on how quickly it started and how well it was recorded, which is why our documentation begins on the first visit.
Mold Remediation
Remediation is not spraying and wiping. It is containing the affected area under negative pressure, removing colonised material without letting spores travel through the rest of the building, cleaning what stays, and then correcting the moisture that caused it. If the water source is not fixed, mold comes back no matter how well the removal is done.
